In 2017 we began began work with MavenWorksMedia and Parco Turistico Culturale Palmieri to produce a documentary film, “The New Neighbors,” which expands upon the portraits taken in southern Italy to convey the waves of immigration and emigration particular to southern Italy. This film serves as a point of departure for a narrative that combines stories of long-term inhabitants with those of more recent arrivals.
