In 2017 we began began work with MavenWorksMedia and Parco Turistico Culturale Palmieri to produce a documentary film, “The New Neighbors,” which expands upon the portraits taken in southern Italy to convey the waves of immigration and emigration particular to southern Italy. See the trailer here. This film serves as a point of departure for a narrative that combines stories of long-term inhabitants with those of more recent arrivals.
